Château

Today we had French Language class with Isabelle. It's a good class and I feel like we learn alot. Pretty much the goal of the class is to improve our french for an important test. Anyways, after class we had a short lunch (meaning only 45 minutes!) and then met to go to the Château. All seven of us Kzoo students plus Joelle and a driver went in a minivan to Château de Chavaniac. This happens to be the place where Marie Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier was born aka Lafayette (aka helped us in the French Revolution). It was really interesting to hear about everything and the architecture was really cool. We toured a little bit of inside and a little bit of outside (until it started to sprinkle). After that we drove to Issoire and toured a Greco-roman church. It was really dark inside and had a crypt which was damp and musty smelling. Then we had some coffee and went back to Clermont.
